that Stanford had dropsy (heart failure) and that Thomas had Rheumatism. I
know that Stanford died several years before Adeline did. I have a picture of
her that was taken about 1930 when she was pretty old.</span></font></p>

that same record they had Stanford Howell marrying another woman. I<br>
can't remember her name but I think it started with an O so if you<br>
scroll down to the O's and look in the groom's side you will see<br>
Stanford Howell.<br>
I do have the actual marriage record, but thanks for offering to get it<br>
for me. Stanford and Adeline were my great, great grandparents. <br>
Stanford is the big mystery guy. I don't know who his parents were but<br>
I am going to start looking in Illinois around 1830 as he was born about
1832. <br>
I have a distant cousin who thinks he went to Arkansas and married a woman
there but I haven't found anything to make me think this is accurate.</span></font></p>

I know that there were a lot of Howell's that came to Oregon early and got
land, I have checked most, if not all of them out and none of them has Stanford
living with them. One of my thoughts is that he was an orphan and perhaps
