Just a couple of additions to the Leonard Featherkile answer:<BR>
Gertrude was naturalized in Oregon in either 1907 or 1909 (prob 1909). Her father and mother were both born in England.<BR>
Gloria Edwards is listed as being in school so perhaps she was working as a mother's helper after school.<BR>
As you knew the film is not the best. I checked the 1900 film from Coos County, but realized that I did not know the last name. However if you give me the nameI will look at the film again.<BR>
I live about a mile from the Northwest Region archives in Seattle and will be glad to do look ups for anyone having trouble reading census records.<BR>
