<DIV>My grandmother passed away Dec 22 in Pendleton OR.  She was Viola 

Cynthia Jamison Diggins.  She was 89 years old.  She was the past 

Umatilla County Pioneer Queen for 1985.  Widow of David William 

Diggins. He proceeded her in death on Jan 2 2004 at the age of 93. His 

grandfather, also David, homesteaded the Basket Mountain and Joseph 

areas.  They are both greatly missed.  </DIV>

<DIV>She did her best to keep the past alive and would help me with my genealogy 

information.  She will be missed. </DIV>
