<P> <BR>BIOGRAPHY: ALFRED F. GRIMM <BR><BR>Alfred Grimm was born on May 10, 1914 in Bemidji, Beltrami County, Minnesota to <A href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=28305898" hasbox="2"><FONT color=#552255>Frank</FONT></A> and <A href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=28305921"><FONT color=#552255>Pauline</FONT></A> Grimm.<BR><BR>He moved to Klamath Falls Oregon in 1923 with his family.<BR><BR>Alfred, aged 28, married <A href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=29098544&"><FONT color=#552255>Gertrude Parker</FONT></A>, aged 18, on July 4, 1942. <BR><BR>They had four children:<BR>1. Frederick Grimm<BR>2. <A href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=25132358"><FONT color=#552255>Donald Dean Grimm</FONT></A>, in 1944<BR>3. Douglas Grimm<BR>4. Dennis Grimm<BR><BR>Alfred was a mill worker and a carrier driver until his retirement in 1980.<BR><BR>He loved trains, especially steam engines. He also loved watching the progress of construction work.<BR><BR>Alfred died on June 24, 2002, aged 88, at Klamath County, Oregon. <BR><BR>He was buried in Mount Laki Cemetery, Lost River, Klamath County, Oregon next to his wife.<BR><BR>--<BR>Note:<BR>My personal thanks to Jeanie Sawyer for finding this grave, and several other family burials. -Don Smith<BR>
