surname (if you put a comma at the end of the surname it will help cut on
searches you don’t want. An example would be if you were searching for a
surname of Michaels a comma would help eliminate Michaelsons). I use
this trick all the time when searching the Oregon State Archives online

searching for a particular name you can go to the Edit function at the top of
the page in Explorer, choose Find on this Page and type in the name you are
seeking. It will then move forward to each instance of that name when
