Yes! the Belknaps are related to us, early settlers in Benton County and the Summer lake Valley as per the Book you gave me copies of.

In fact I am going over to Pailsey July 2nd to check the Currier graves their, and Meet Diane Elder, who is often on the list, she is distantly related.

Benton County Historical Society has the Belknap, Currier and Roe genealogies online on their Pioneers of Benton County, I need to check what others they have, maybe they have the Howell's.

Have done a little checking on my Wife's Howell's, North Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri is where they seemed to have been, but i do not have much data, particularly Birth and Death dates so having a hard time with them.

I note several of the lines I have or have helped others with do the same thing. Sometimes only once some of them show up in NE or E Central and then back to balmy western Oregon, but a significant fraction jump over the Columbia too.

I know several other folks on the list have talked about that path and Samuel, son of Daniel Richardson of the next to oldest house still standing in Eugene fame (I think, the NPS doc doesn't exactly make that clear) and some of his kids end up in Pullman by 1920.

Speaking of coincidences; Electra BELKNAP Howell?
