Greenberry Pumphrey is an interesting name - probably Welsh as the name would
come from Humphrey; " ap Humphrey" would be the son of Humphrey.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

My wife's family has Greenberrys in it - Greenberry Pumphrey and various
iterations among descendants, but they were in <st1:State w:st="on">Maryland</st1:State>,
not <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Oregon</st1:place></st1:State>.<br>
<br>
But some make you wonder. My mother used to talk about some girls she
knew - I believe in the <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Eugene</st1:place></st1:City>
area - named Ima and Ura Hogg.<br>
