There are some sites that you can post info on in hopes of connecting with the other parties. If you want to pay the bucks to be a member I think you can get a birth cert here;

http://www.vitalsearch-ca.com/gen/ca/_vitals/cabirthm.htm

but before you risk that you want to search the data base and see if she is there, you have to get the guest pass, and then when you get to teh search page there will be a "search" botton somewhere near the bottom of a web page that will be playing an obnoxious add, the good news is boyd is a four letter word which means all you have to go through is the boyds, but there may be a lot of them. I'd do it for you, but I sliced open a finger today and my putering is limited.

You might see what Vital search has for Indiana, I think their offical VR birth info is limited to the person, or a legal rep or some such. Oregon will let you have a copy in about 15 years.

Les

-----Original Message-----
From: or-roots-bounces@listsmart.osl.state.or.us [mailto:or-roots-bounces@listsmart.osl.state.or.us]On Behalf Of 58cjpeterson@comcast.net
Sent: Saturday, August 01, 2009 5:30 PM
To: Oregon Genealogy List
Subject: [or-roots] Adoption Records

Hello Listers:

I would like to know if there's a resource to see if old adoption records are online.
