<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Thanks Sharon, Sue & Mimi,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial> The delayed birth record is the most exciting
lead of all. My direct ancestor emigrated to Oregon and said she was going
to join Theresa Plennert. I have searched a long time to figure out who
that was! Perhaps she is the Mary Teresa?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial> I do have one of the death certificates but
didn't realize the others were spelled differently until I saw the
tombstones. I shall look forward to my next visit to the
Archives!</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Thank you each for the leads you shared - Frances Plennert
Ackerman was the informant on Adam Plennert's death certificate so I'll guess
she may be his daughter. A birth record should confirm that.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV>Denise - there is an excellent set of books published on Catholic
Church Records in the NW - it's a seven volume set and an index:
Catholic Church Records of the Pacific Northwest by Harriet Munnick. The
Oregon State Archives has a set of these books as I imagine a number of other
libraries in the state do as well. Each book covers different churches. It's
an excellent resource! And each is indexed and there is a
cumulative index as well. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Book 3 covers St. Paul, St. Louis, Gervais and Brooks which would
probably be the most use to
you.

<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Has anyone done research amongst the Catholic Records
of Sacred Heart or St. Louis? My ancestors emigrated from Pankota,
Hungary (Germans) and I located a goodly group of them in the two cemeteries

tombstones I'm wondering what resource next might provide some clues.
Some of these German relatives seem to have avoided the census takers so I
need to find some other records.</FONT></DIV>

Jacob I Plennart (1902-1975), Ada Plenert (1852-1930) & Frances Plenert
(1860-1915). Even tho the spellings are different I strongly suspect
they are relatives to my direct ancestor, Eva Plennert.</FONT></DIV>
