class=281083614-03052010>I had a bit of a go-round with the stomach flu for the
last week, so I wasn't thinking much of genealogy. Virginia thought to
check something I've never thought to check. She checked to see if they
were still in Walla Walla in 1920. My Charles Howard was in the Oregon
State Penitentiary in 1920, so that must not have been my Charles Howard.
It really does help to have more heads thinking about brick walls. Thanks
Virginia. I will email you off list later about the existence of
county records when he was convicted in Walla Walla. At the moment I need
to get to work.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

<DIV>Rhonda,</DIV>
<DIV>I have changed my email address and Oregon roots will not allow me to reply
directly and I am ttring unsuccesfully to get it changed so thought I would give
you the information I found as people seem to be overlooking the obvious.</DIV>
<DIV>Charles L and Anna Howard are on the 1920 Washington census. They are
in Walla Walla County Braden precinct. Both were employees of the County
Poor Farm so looks like that is not your illusive grandparent.</DIV>
<DIV>I live near Walla Walla so if I can help, will be glad to.</DIV>
