Nancy, have you considered checking with Willamette National
Cemetery to see what information they have in their files. Since
Paulina died first, hopefully Earnest would have known information
to provide for the death certificate. But I assume since she was
buried in the military cemetery before he was, he would have needed
to provide proof of their marriage to have her buried there. Oops!
I just noticed she was a different rank than his so apparently she
must have been buried based on her own service.<br>
<br>
Another possibility would be to order a copy of her Social Security
application. On that form she would have needed to list her maiden
name and her parents names. Te cost is still $27.00 but you would
probably get most of the info you need.The application form (SS-5)
contains the following information:
<div class="middle">
<ul>
<li>Full name</li>
<li>Full name at birth (including maiden name)</li>
<li>Present mailing address</li>
<li>Age at last birthday</li>
<li>Date of birth</li>
<li>Place of birth (City, county, state)</li>
<li>Father's full name "regardless of whether living or dead"</li>
<li>Mother's full name, including maiden name, "regardless of
whether living or dead"</li>
<li>Sex and race</li>
<li>Ever applied for SS number/Railroad Retirement before?
Yes/No</li>
<li>Current employer's name and address</li>
<li>Date signed</li>
<li>Applicant's signature</li>
</ul>

Paulina (unknown) Moore</div>

</div>
<div><font face="Calibri">Hi Everyone,</font></div>
<div> </div>
<div><font face="Calibri">I'm trying to find an <u>Obituary</u>
or <u>maiden name</u> of Paulina (unknown) Moore. She was
born Feb 27, 1900 in Mexico & died Feb 6, 1990 in St.
Helens, Oregon. Paulina & her husband Earnest Moore are
both buried at Willamette National Cem. Portland, OR.
Paulina is my daughter in law's Ggrandmother & she would
love to more about her but we need her maiden name to search
more. Paulina was Spanish & native american Indian.
Paulina's daughter is Agnes (Moore) Clark of St. Helens,
OR.. That's all we know about her. I guess Paulina would
never talk about her ancestry.</font></div>
<div> </div>
<div><font face="Calibri">I live in St. Helens & can't find
anything else on her.</font></div>
<div><font face="Calibri">Thanks for any help, Nancy</font></div>
