<DIV>I have a subscription to GenealogyBank and find it very helpful in doing
historical research about Junction City, Oregon. To otherwise find small news
items about our small town in The Oregonian would be very difficult. In fact, I
just found that in October 1912, "Junction City had 12 1/2 blocks of paved
streets. . . The population is only 850. Junction City is the smallest city in
the state with the same amount of paved streets." Now where else would I find
that?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>In Oregon the only newspapers they have are in Portland and Eugene.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Seriously though, if you have time to do extensive research, subscribe for
only one month and see if you feel it is worth it. Worth is different to each
researcher.</DIV>
