<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;"><font class="Apple-style-span" face="arial" size="2">Since this looks a lot like something I posted on Facebook this morning I thought I should post yet another follow up on what the results of my search were. It turns out Tom had turned his back on his family. I won't go into details, but it is a very sad story. </font><br><br><font class="Apple-style-span" face="arial" size="2">Ironically it never occurred to me in all the years I collaborated with him on researching my great grandfather's genealogy to ask him about his family. He sort of seemed to consider himself part of ours and we have always been a family that was perfectly willing to adopt people that way, no questions asked.</font><div style="font-family: arial; font-size: 10pt; "><br></div><div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="arial" size="2">I had a nice long chat a while back with a
