<P>As for name spellings do not discount any spelling until you check it out completely how a name is spelled depends on</P>
<P>who is writing the name down, what it sounded like to them and how well educated they were.</P>
<P>I have been doing some research on my wifes Aumiller family and have even found the name spelled Cubmiller and have one</P>
<P>Person that swears the name is spelled Aymiller and any other spelling is in error.</P>
<P>By the way I have five Cooper's in my family but have not researched them most are living and in Cottage Grove</P>
<P>But were from Polk County also have a Mathey from Switzerland.</P>
