Vol 50, Issue 9

Hello Sue
I am looking for Mary Cady, born Dec. 5, 1820
in York County, Pennsylvania and died April 13, 1911. I have
her death certificate and it says Shelburne Oregon as her place of
removal or burial and that was done April 30, 1911. The undertaker's
name is illegible as was the place of death until I sleuthed through some
sites and came up with Shelburne. The address of the undertaker was
noted as Scio. My great grandfather, her son Paul Tompkins signed the
certificate, and he lived in North Scio at the time of the 1910
census. I am wondering where she is buried.
I am also
hoping to connect her with Michael L. Zigler who lived on the farm next door
to her in the 1900 census. I think that he was her brother and the
family came out in a group in the 1885 to 1900. I know that she
applied for a widow's pension as well.
Any help is
wonderful.
Thanks
Lynda
