And no that isn't a reference to the sanity of the associated landowners, but to the fact that it was perceived as warmer weather in our little valley than was the case in town. I think that was mostly a misconception since I have driven to town several times with snow still clinging to my vehicle and had folks think I must have driven in from Diston or some similarly high elevation location, but I am sure you can still find old timers who know where "The Banana Farm" is in south Lane
County.</font><div><font face="arial" size="2"><br></font></div><div><font face="arial" size="2">Also being named for the owner brings you right back to an ID as useless as my PO box example if that is all you have; which Booth Kelley camp or Woodard or whatever.
