<font size="3" face="Verdana">I also have FTM 2010. I have inadvertently gotten a child not attached correctly. Have you checked your people list to make sure the child is not listed twice and one of them is unattached. If so, you could then merge the 2 children making sure it was the one attached to the parents. I had a problem such as this but cannot remember the names so can't go back and check out the solution. Or you could totally unattach and delete the child and then redo it.
