The IOOF still sort of managed the cemetery. Their membership was dwindling. However a couple of years later much of the downtown area burned, which included those records. I called the only funeral home in business during that time and they had no record, because the people were not local and no one contacted them for a stone or any information. Our county only has about 7300 residents and is 110 miles by 110 miles.
