Also I recently learned that Astoria had a disastrous fire that might have put paid to any record you are seeking.</div><div style="font-family: arial; font-size: 10pt;"><br></div><div><font face="arial" size="2">It is interesting how the newspaper gossip columns back in the day could think it noteworthy to publish the fact that my grandfather visited his daughter in Reedsport from Gardiner back in the day, but unless you were a prominent citizens chances were that your passing might not be mentioned in the paper unless it came to the attention of the same busybody who
supplied the rest of the local gossip column.</font></div><div><font face="arial" size="2"><br></font></div><div><font face="arial" size="2">I checked state archives index and all they show is the probate papers. Wm. C. A. Pohl was her undertaker and<br>the Coroner at that time. We are visiting Astoria next week and have<br>an appt with Liisa Penner.
