newspapers in North Dakota for her birth & death of her Mother. Did
the Mother die in childbirth or an accident? Have you checked the
courthouse in ND to see if a guardianship was established? How would the nurse
have been able to travel with a baby so far? Makes me wonder if this was a legal
adoption? </DIV>

Sundquist was born in Alexander, McKenzie County, North Dakota on 6 May 1920.
Her mother died and the nurse brought her to Oregon. She was then adopted by
Emmett and Roxanne Kelly and her name was changed to Mary Jeanne Kelly.

Census for Clark County, WA has her as their adopted child. We need to find
something that proves both names are the same person. She died 9 September
1990 in Portland. We have tried Social Security and the marriage license.
North Dakota doesn’t have a birth certificate. This information is needed for
an application.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
