Sure at least my grand uncle was probably messing around on the mountain when it was a tent camp. We didn't move from Oregon to Flagstaff until much later....1949.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

It was a roaring mining town with all the normal things they had back then. Saloons, houses of ill repute, opera house, etc.<u></u><u></u></p>

During the Civil War, they mostly were sold off or they "escaped confinement" and roamed the desert and lower mountain ranges for decades.
