<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">I am not sure if the Morrill Act lands would have been treated separately from the initial lands that were set aside when Oregon became a state. The Division of State Lands and the State Land Board are charged
with managing lands held by the state. Here is a link to the finding aid for that agency’s records here at the State Archives.</span></p>

the “land grant” University under the Morrill Act. If the question Diane is trying to answer actually relates to the University rather than the lands in proximity to the University the OSU archives staff may in fact be able to provide the best answer to the
