<div><div>Anne: I think it was in the 1880's sometime that doctors had to be licensed in Oregon. My great grandfather, Jesse William McClure, was known as a doctor and had to register. I found him listed in a book that Willamette Valley Genealogical Society had in their collection when at the State Library. I don't know if it was theirs or belonged to the library and I don't have the name of the book--so not much help! <br><div><br>I'm looking for COMER descendants of the family that was in the Roseburg area at the end of the 1890's--Anne does this fit your history?
