<p class="MsoNormal">The Oregon College Savings Plan will sponsor one free summer reading performer for libraries with service areas less than 10,000 according to the most recent Public Library Statistics—the most recent statistics aren’t online yet, but
<a href="http://www.oregon.gov/osl/LD/Pages/statsploregon.aspx">last years are available here</a>. The goal of this program is to attract a lot of families to your library’s summer reading program and to promote the
<a href="http://www.oregon.gov/osl/LD/Pages/youthsvcs/summerreading/sweepstakes.aspx">
summer reading sweepstakes</a>. It’s also a good opportunity to ignite conversations about going to college and saving for college in your community.
