As a Contract Archaeologist, the incumbent functions as a cultural resource specialist, working with BPA archaeologists and other contract archeologists along with project environmental leads for BPA Transmission Services operations and maintenance and new construction activities, as well as for the Fish and Wildlife Mitigation Program and its associated projects.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional knowledge in the inventory, evaluation, protection, and management of prehistoric and historic resources, primarily through field work throughout the <st1:place w:st="on">Pacific Northwest</st1:place>.<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt"><o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></FONT></P>
