<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The course will cover broad issues pertaining to hazard recognition at spill response sites and will familiarize participants with the typical mitigation equipment and activities of an oil or hazmat spill. The purpose of the class is to provide workers working at hazardous sites with the tools to identify<BR>different types of hazards as well as suggest possible precautions and protective measures to reduce or eliminate hazards at the work place. Completion of a 24-Hour HAZWOPER course is required by the government for all personnel visiting an Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Site (e.g., an oil spill).</DIV>
