<p style="TEXT-ALIGN:justify;MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri">The Association of Oregon Archaeologists is pleased to present the 2012 NWAC<b><span style="COLOR:red"> </span></b>Student Travel Award.  This award is intended to offset the cost of travel to the 2012 Northwest Anthropological Conference in Pendleton, OR.</font></p>

<p style="TEXT-ALIGN:justify;MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri"> </font></p>
<p style="TEXT-ALIGN:justify;MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri">The award will be open to any undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in an Oregon university or college and whose research directly contributes to and/or enhances our understanding of Oregon archaeology.  </font></p>

<p style="TEXT-ALIGN:justify;MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri"> </font></p>
<p style="TEXT-ALIGN:justify;MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri">A $300 cash award will be given to the best original paper and presentation presented at the 2012 NWAC Conference.  The winning paper will be announced at the NWAC Banquet and will also be published in a future edition of CAHO the AOA’s quarterly newsletter.  All entries who present will receive a one year membership to the AOA and have their abstract printed in a future edition of CAHO.  </font></p>

<p style="TEXT-ALIGN:justify;MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3" face="Calibri">An abstract must 1^st be sent to NWAC <b>by January 31^st, 2012</b> (see below for website) and then sent to the AOA by <b>February 10^th 2012 to </b>enter the AOA’s student award competition. </font></p>

<p style="TEXT-ALIGN:justify;MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3"><font face="Calibri">The final paper, which will be used for judging, must be received by the AOA by <b>March 1^st 2012.</b></font></font></p>
