<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">The Association of Oregon Archaeologists is pleased to present the 2013 NWAC<b><span style="color:red">
</span></b>Student Travel Award. This award is intended to offset the cost of travel to the 2013 Northwest Anthropological Conference in Portland, OR.
</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">The award is open to any undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in an Oregon university or college and whose research directly contributes
to and/or enhances our understanding of Oregon archaeology. Students from the Portland area may still participate, as the money can help offset other cost associated with attending the conference.
</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif""> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">A $300 cash award will be given to the best original paper and presentation presented at the 2013 NWAC Conference. The winning paper will be
announced at the NWAC Banquet and will also be published in a future edition of CAHO the AOA’s quarterly newsletter. All entries who present will have their abstract printed in a future edition of CAHO.
</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif""> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Book Antiqua","serif"">The final paper, which will be used for judging, must be received by the AOA by
<b>March 15<sup>st</sup> 2013. </b>Participants must comply with all NWAC submission deadlines, and have their abstract in to the NWAC conference committee by
<b>February 8<sup>th</sup>. </b></span></p>
