<DIV>In an attempt to assist applicants with the process of applying for and complying with state issued archaeological permits, Oregon SHPO has recently completed its second archaeological bulletin, Archaeology Bulletin 2 - Archaeological Permits. The bulletin is available at our web address: <A href="http://www.oregon.gov/oprd/HCD/ARCH/Pages/index.aspx">http://www.oregon.gov/oprd/HCD/ARCH/Pages/index.aspx</A> under the heading Archaeology Bulletins. The bulletin has two accompanying documents consisting of a frequently asked questions and permit checklist. The FAQs address both the most frequently asked questions, but also less common questions that are important parts of the process. The checklist is specifically intended for internal use by applicants to make sure they have all the required parts of the application prior to mailing to SHPO. </DIV>
