Many, many thanks to all those that provided constructive criticism, comments, and suggestions. When you peruse the document, I hope you'll find that the document is much improved from the first draft. Many of the comments we received led directly to re-thinking of our processes here, and revisions in the document to reflect those.

The document is being released in what amounts to a "working draft" format. We request that you use the document over the coming months, taking note of any difficulties, omissions, or repeated instances where the document falls short. It is our intent to use this document in this way until the end of the summer field season 2014, in the hope that it will either prove to be a workable guidance document, or that functional deficiencies will be identified so that we can address them before we finalize it.

The Linear Resources Guidance is attached, and will shortly be available on our website for download as well.

Many, many thanks.

Cheers,
-Jason

Jason M.
