State of Oregon Guidelines for Reporting on Archaeological Investigations</a> and new fillable pdf

Archaeological Report Cover Page</a> are now available at the SHPO <a href="http://www.oregon.gov/oprd/HCD/ARCH/Pages/index.aspx">
Archaeological Services</a> webpage. The reporting guidelines are an attempt to provide assistance with common report types (e.g., cell tower survey reports) received at SHPO. They also provide suggestions for report sections. The report cover page (also appended
to the reporting guidelines), assists SHPO staff with entering report information into searchable databases that track reports, permits and cases under review. They also help with populating GIS attribute fields that are linked to OARRA. The reporting guidelines
and cover page also direct authors towards addressing all four NRHP criteria when evaluating archaeological sites (as required per 36CFR800.4[c][1]).
