</b>The Archaeologist performs research, fieldwork, laboratory, and writing tasks as part of a project team. Based on education and experience, the Archaeologist may be called on to serve as Principal Investigator and take a lead role in planning, managing,
 and completing projects and may take a more active role in client contact, proposal preparation, and budget development.
