<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Statistical Research, Inc. (SRI) is recruiting for a senior-level candidate interested in joining our small team in Lacey, WA. SRI provides comprehensive cultural resource management (CRM) services to private
and government clients at the federal, state, and local levels throughout the western United States from our offices in Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Washington. We are seeking a candidate motivated to expand and shape our archaeology practice in the
Pacific Northwest. This is an ideal opportunity for somebody that wants to be in a leadership role with the ability to influence the trajectory of our regional team.

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">We are currently offering one full-time position for a Principal Investigator (PI) based out of our Lacey office. The PI will be crucial in developing proposals, leading projects, supervising mid- and junior-level
staff, and expanding the SRI client and project base. We are interested in experienced candidates looking to thrive in a small business setting where they will have direct input on decision making at the project level.

<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The PI is responsible for developing project research designs, planning, overseeing, and participating in fieldwork and analysis, and preparing a variety of reports. The PI monitors day-to-day progress on assigned
projects and works with the other staff to ensure that each participant in the project is meeting assigned tasks. Among the reports that a PI may work on are cultural resource overviews; CRM plans; survey, testing, and data recovery reports; research proposals;
treatment plans; public interpretive material; and management documents such as Programmatic Agreements and Memorandums of Agreements. The PI also prepares costs estimates and budgets, edits the reports and budgets of others, and takes ultimate responsibility
for fieldwork, analysis, write-up, and production per any contractual requirements. The PI may also participate in consultation with review agencies, tribal representatives, and other interested parties. Travel for and physical capability to complete fieldwork
is expected for this position. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Qualifications for consideration as a PI include holding a Master's or Ph.D. in anthropology or a related field with a clear emphasis in precontact archaeology. The PI must also meet the Secretary of Interior
Qualifications for Archaeology, be a Registered Professional Archaeologist, and having at least 10 years of fieldwork and analytical experience with 6 years in a supervisory capacity with a demonstrated ability to build client relationships, garner new projects,
and lead them from <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="Default" style="page-break-before:always"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">inception to completion. Successful candidates must also show an applied knowledge of federal, state, and local cultural resource laws and regulations and specialized skillsets
in precolonial archaeology (e.g., lithic analysis). While we have a strong preference for applied experience with precontact archaeology in the Pacific Northwest, we welcome all applicants. The ability to work harmoniously and productively with SRI staff across
the company and clients is essential, and the PI is expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times.
