Find new ways to get media attention - feature stories
More than ever, public relations professionals are challenged to find new ways to get the media's attention. A feature is often the best way to showcase your message and have it stand out from the competition. This session will provide you with the tools to make that happen.

Angela Mendola will offer a fast-paced interactive session that gives you a paragraph-by-paragraph breakdown of the most crucial building blocks of a successful feature. You will also learn:

» How a feature differs from a news release.
» The importance of writing the story in such a way that it can be used verbatim by the media.
» How the media landscape has changed, increasing your opportunities for feature placement.
» How to best integrate photos and multimedia into your feature release.
 
Angela Mendola, a 25-year veteran of the commercial newswire industry is well-recognized and instrumental in creating and publicizing feature news story packages offered to the lifestyle media. In addition, she planned and executed many Feature News Workshops and webinars across the country for public relations professionals who want to hone their feature news writing skills and get better story placements in the print and broadcast media.
