The following free, easy-to-understand diabetes patient aids in English and Spanish have been added to www.learningaboutdiabetes.org during the month of November:

1) Diabetes and Your Heart - a new handout that highlights:

. the increase in risk of heart disease with diabetes
. the things one can control to lower the risk of heart disease, and
. the heart-healthy goals for anyone with diabetes.

2) Understanding Blood Sugar - an updated version of the Managing Your Blood Sugar booklet previously online. The revised illustrations and text should make this popular download even more useful.
