[ORDiabCoalition] Ask the Senate to increase diabetes funding

Dear Colleagues,
This Friday, May 15th, is the deadline for your U.S. Senators to submit requests for funding for programs they feel are important, to the Appropriations Committee. The Committee takes these requests into consideration as they discuss how much to spend on specific programs in the Fiscal Year 2010 budget.
I sent a letter to my Senators asking them to submit a request to the Appropriations Committee for an increase in diabetes funding at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health.
