</span></b><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">The Oregon Water Resources Department announces a funding opportunity to support place-based integrated water resources planning for a select number of pilot areas. The Department received $750,000
to distribute as grants. The Department anticipates awarding 2-4 grants on a competitive basis and will also be offering planning and technical assistance.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:10.0pt;line-height:115%"><b><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"">Application Information:</span></b><span style="font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif""> Grant applications will be submitted in the form of a
Letter of Interest. The formal Request for Letters of Interest, which describes the application process and materials in more detail, is attached to this message.

Letters of Interest will undergo an internal review, followed by an inter-agency review. Funding decisions will be made by the Water Resources Commission at an upcoming Commission meeting (anticipated in February or March 2016).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
