Under the provisions of FAR 35.016 and FAR 6.102(d)(2),which provides for the competitive selection of research proposals,the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) has issuedaBroad Agency Announcement (BAA) on the FedBizOpps.govweb site. Contracts that are awarded based on responses to this BAA are as a result of full and open competition and therefore in full compliance with the provisions of PL98-369, "The Competition in Contracting Act of 1984".

The following is a link to "FedBizOpps.gov" where the BAA for the EPHT Program is posted.  Enter the Solicitation number:2010-N-11993  in the Key Word/Solicitation # box and click on the "Search" button. It will bring up the announcement.

This BAA is open and in effect for 21 days from the date of release (March 29, 2010 through April 19, 2010).  THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE CALL FOR WHITE PAPERS  for the Environmental Public Health Tracking Program.  Prior to submission of a white paper, offerors are strongly encouraged to contact the CDC BAA Technical Coordinator, Ms. Susan Rezai, at 770-488-1473.  White papers must be received by April 19, 2010 in order to be considered for further evaluation.  White papers should be submitted electronically to the CDC BAA Technical Coordinator, Susan Rezai atsrezai at cdc.gov
