Happy Friday PMO!

The latest installment in our communication toolkit series is ready for you to use. Its focus is birth defects. As you may know, January is National Birth Defects Prevention Month. This toolkit could be useful in helping you promote how the Tracking Network is providing data and information about this important health issue.  Please think about how you might be able to use the toolkit during your or your health departments' Birth Defects Prevention Month events.

In the toolkit you will find overall messages about the Tracking Network plus topic-specific content including

*         Key messages;

*         Talking points;

*         Facts about birth defects;

*         A matte article; and,

*         Sample Facebook posts and Tweets.

Items in the toolkit are designed for you to customize and then share with your target audiences. For more specific ideas on how to use each of the pieces, please see the section "How to Use Tool Kit Components" starting on page 4.
