Leslie Thomas Stayner is a professor of epidemiology at the UIC School of Public Health with research focusing on occupational and environmental epidemiology, epidemiological methods, cancer, and other chronic diseases.  Previous publications have studied occupational and environmental carcinogens worldwide.
Mary E. Turyk is a research assistant professor of epidemiology at the UIC School of Public Health with research focusing on the effects of environmental pollutants and indoor allergens.  Previous publications have studied health effects of pollutants in the Great Lakes.
