discussed funding options that included a 20% large grant cap. This would cap
grant requesting to no more than 20% of the available funds during a funding
cycle. The group also requested that grants requesting 3%, or less of the total
available funds, be fully funded. The funds for the small grants would be
subtracted before the other grants are weighted and reduced. They also recommended
that the goal 6 date be extended to 2016.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>

asking that the department make these recommendations to the advisory
committee. If they are accepted, it was recommended that these changes be
applied to the current fall cycle.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>
