Subject: David Bradford Passed Away

Dear Colleagues:

It is with sadness that I need to let you know that we've lost a member
of our ODFW family. David Bradford peacefully passed away in his sleep
on February 13th.

David started with the Natural Resources Information Management Program
on September 2, 2008 as a GIS Technician. His primary duties were to
migrate our existing fish habitat distribution data to a higher
resolution format, making it more useful. He also worked with
biological staff to improve the accuracy of the distribution information
that we make available. He had a Master's Degree in Geography from OSU.
David was a member of the Association of American Geographers, and the
American Association for the Advancement of Science.

David was friendly, very personable, a conscientious worker, very bright
and an avid OSU Beaver fan. In his brief time with us, he became a very
valuable member of the program and the ODFW family. He will be missed.

The memorial for David will be a celebration of his life from noon to
3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, at the Oregon State University Alumni
Center, in the Willamette Room. His family has told us that ODFW staff
are welcome to attend.

For those who would like more information about David, here is a link to
the obituary in the Albany Democrat Herald:
