Folks:
I thought I would send along to you a link to a video (trailer) about
the Geospatial Revolution (geospatial intelligence) that was created at
Penn State University. I discovered the video at the NW GIS users
conference in Spokane WA, as presented by Max Barber who is the Director
of Faculty at the National Geospatial Intelligence Foundation. The
folks up in Spokane WA did a wonderful job of hosting the NW GIS users
conference. What was really cool was that I was able to see old GIS
colleagues that I hadn't seen in over 14 years.
I presented the video at our agencies GIS meeting the other day and
staff really enjoyed it, and so I thought I would pass it along to the
Ortho FIT group. There are a number of episodes that can also be
viewed if desired. In addition, this video might be something that we
could use at future GIS venues that could help provide support for the
GIS effort in the state of Oregon. Should you have any questions or
comments then please contact me.
Enjoy ...
