Hi everyone!

I've been getting quite a few emails asking about the status of the 2022 imagery so I thought I'd send out a broad announcement.

The latest news is that we're waiting for delivery from the NRCS/APFO folks. Here is the list of deliverables based on our cooperative agreement:

  1. DOQQs. 7,473 uncompressed GeoTIff files projected to Oregon Statewide Lambert, intl feet, NAD83(2011) Epoch 2010 (aka EPSG:6557)
  2. Tiled DTM used for orthoimagery production in ESRI compatible format
  3. Ground control used for orthoimagery production in ESRI file geodatabase format
  4. Seamline index for each exposure used in the creation of the orthorectified imagery in shapefile or ESRI file geodatabase format
  5. DSM point cloud for area covered by orthoimagery in LAS format
  6. DSM as raster created from point cloud in ERDAS Imagine (*.img) format
  7. ISO 19115-2 compliant metadata for each deliverable

However, the NRCS/APFO is having difficulty projecting the DOQQ's to Oregon Lambert so I'm looking into whether we can speed things up by performing this operation ourselves like we've done many times. Hopefully this will get resolved soon.

Best,

Brady Callahan, GISP Geospatial Lead, sUAS Coordinator, Oregon Imagery FIT Lead
