(It appears that the financial pain we are feeling is everywhere. Only 1 state formed a partnership for ½ meter resolution and many states did not acquire 4-band imagery for 2011.) The contract under NAIP is for 3-band, 1 meter, full state coverage. Hopefully the NAIP imagery will become available to the public through APFO in August (no guarantees). <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>It appears that Surdex will be selling a 4-band, 1 meter, full state coverage. Surdex can do this. We must remember that any product purchased through Surdex is an agreement between the two parties and has nothing to do with APFO or the NAIP program. If parties are interested in a 3-band product, I suggest they contact APFO and see what is available (CCMs, State Mosaics, etc.). If parties are interested in Surdex products, they need to contact Surdex.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>To change the topic, the e-mail below is an attempt by APFO to provide some basic data about the 2011 NAIP imagery and gather more ground control. Obviously the more ground control the better the NAIP imagery for everybody. The attachment contains links to ground point requirements.
