Dear Interested Parties,

The Oregon State Board of Architect Examiners invites public comment on its proposed amendments to Oregon Administrative Rules 806-010-0010 Approved Architect and Firm Registration and Evaluation Programs, 806-010-0033 Recognized Jurisdictions, and 806-010-0035 Registration by Reciprocity. The amendments are proposed to remove barriers to registration by removing the exceptions to NCARB's Architectural Experience Portfolio (AXP) and the NCARB Certificate Portfolio, update references to approved guidelines, and delete separate references to Canada, Australia, and New Zealand as they are included in NCARB's mutual recognition agreements/arrangements.  The notice with the proposed amendments is attached.
A public hearing will be held September 27 at 2:00 p.m. via videoconference. Interested parties may also participate by phone. Please contact mari.karnowski at osbae.oregon.gov<mailto:mari.karnowski at osbae.oregon.gov> if you would like information on how to join the meeting.
Written comments will be accepted until September 27, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. and may be submitted via email or mail.
