[OSBAE] OSBAE Proposed Rulemaking Notice

The Oregon State Board of Architect Examiners (OSBAE) is proposing an amendment to Oregon Administrative Rules, Chapter 806. The proposed amendment updates terminology for recognized jurisdictions for international applicants. There are no proposed changes to qualifications in this section.

Comments may be submitted via email to architectboard at osbae.oregon.gov<mailto:architectboard at osbae.oregon.gov> or by mail to: OSBAE, 205 Liberty St. NE, Suite A, Salem, OR 97301. All comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. on November 24, 2025. An optional public hearing will occur on November 17, 2025. Information about how to submit comments is contained in the attached notice.

In accordance with guidance from Governor Kotek's office regarding transparency in rulemaking, please be aware that public comments will be posted on the OSBAE website. All submitted comments will also be reviewed by the Board at its next scheduled meeting following the close of the comment period.
