<div><font face="Calibri" size="2"><span style="font-size:11pt;">The mission of the Department of Agriculture is threefold: (1) to ensure food safety and provide consumer protection, (2) protect agricultural resources, and (3) promote economic development in
the agricultural industry. The department takes a holistic approach to regulating and promoting agricultural activities throughout Oregon. The department’s budget exceeds $96 million and is split between fees, the General Fund, Lottery Funds and Federal Funds.
During peak seasonal activities, the department will employ over 500 employees to carry out its varied functions. </span></font></div>

limited to the agency’s processes for internal control and accounting systems such as accounts receivable and payable. Incumbent uses a total systems approach to problem identification, resolution development and implementation. Incumbent assures that federal
grants/contracts are properly administered. Prepares invoices for federal contracts and interagency agreements. This position provides assistance to the department’s budget officer, Travel Coordinator, SPOTS Coordinator, and for year-end activities.</span></font></div>
