The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is comprised of several divisions. The Driver and Motor Vehicle Services Division (DMV) is seeking a talented and motivated senior project manager to join our Office of Transformation, which is responsible for
overseeing DMV’s Services Transformation Program (STP), which will upgrade and replace obsolete technology and optimize DMV’s business processes to bring them in line with new state of the art systems and 21st Century based best practices.<br>

The successful candidate will provide program and project management expertise, as well as lead aspects of STP, helping to ensure that the program transformation activities follow proven project management protocols that consider and align, where appropriate,
with existing processes and standards and solution vendor methodologies and timelines. The position is a key member of the collaborative STP Leadership Team, which is responsible for the successful planning and execution of the program. They will need to
coordinate procurement, contracting and solution vendor engagement activities. This position will also have a key role in navigating the program through the Office of the State CIO’s Stage Gate Process, and planning and preparing documents required by other
governance entities. In addition, this position will lead risk management and portfolio management activities for STP, working closely with DMV’s existing Projects Director to leverage established processes and toolsets and the solutions vendor to follow
their contracted engagement approach and timeline. Finally, this position will oversee the work performed by delivery project managers working within the program. <br>

DMV has a long-history in state government and its mission is to promote driver safety, protect financial and ownership interests in vehicles, and to collect revenue to finance Oregon's transportation system.<br>

To begin the effort to lay the foundation for transformational change while still meeting today’s challenges and needs, an Office of Transformation has been established to coordinate and lead both short and long-term integrated organizational change and continuous
improvement efforts (technology, work processes, programs and employee development) in order to define and advance DMV’s strategic priorities. The primary change initiative being led by this office is the Service Transformation Program (STP), which is a 9-10
