The existing boat ramp will be left to serve as a paddle craft launch. The new trailered boat launch will be located approximately 200 feet upstream with the reconfiguration of the parking area. These improvements will make the park more attractive for both motorized and manually powered boaters and reduce congestion. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:.5in;line-height:200%'>The Board approved $204,000 in state boater funds combined with $28,160 of in-kind contributions and $204,000 in applicant cash, for a project total of $436,160.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:.5in;line-height:200%'>The permits have been obtained and Marine Board Facilities Engineers are finalizing design and engineering for the project.
